Big Things At Black Mantle!

Big Things At Black Mantle!

The last few weeks have been pretty crazy at Black Mantle and a hell of a lot has happened in a short space of time.

When we created this brand three months ago and went live on the 2nd April, we never expected to receive such incredible support from the miniature painting community, but it has been overwhelmingly positive so far and we can’t thank you all enough.

July in particular though has been a pretty crazy month so far! A few months ago we were contacted by an Essex based table top community called Camelot War Gaming and they showed an interest in stocking our products in their store that is opening on August 1st.

At first it seemed a little too good to be true, we couldn’t believe someone liked what we did so much and wanted to put our products in their shop, in a busy shopping centre after only three months of us being in business.

After a call and a few back and forth messages about how things would work, we all came to an agreement and we are very proud to say that the Black Mantle brand is going to be stocked in the Camelot War gaming shop at the Victoria Shopping Centre in Southend-on-Sea, and we couldn’t be more excited. So we want to say a huge thank you to Scott for taking a chance on us and believing in what we do.

Sometimes though things come in two’s! A few weeks ago I went to a Gothic Market in the Nottingham area and bought a few things from one of the sellers there. Turns out they also run The Wanderers Market which will be having its first trade day at The Old Cold Store in Nottingham city centre on the 5th and 6th September. I ended up chatting to the woman who runs the market and they very kindly invited us to have our very first in person stall there, so we will be there on Sunday only from 12-5pm, so come down and meet us in person if you are in the area.

All of this happened very quickly and it was a pretty exciting few weeks to say the least. When we launched Black Mantle we had no expectations of where we would be, how much we would sell and didn’t know if anyone would care.

Launching a business venture in any capacity is a scary process and putting yourself out there for judgement can sometimes be hard. Not everyone will love what we do and that’s fine, but for those of you who have supported us and have really gotten behind our products, we are so grateful.

So we are very excited to see where the brand goes next year and we are so happy to have you all along on the journey with us.

We hope you aren’t baking too much in the sweaty English heat, but if you are, make sure to keep that palette wet and those brushes clean!

Until we next meet…

Hayden
